Collagen & Antiaging

The Medicinal herbs in this collagen are also used in Chinese Medicine for anti-aging properties to nourish the Yin, increase Qi and blood.

I love plant based collagen. Anima Mundi has been my favorite so far. I have taken different types of collagen and I want to talk about what to look for to make sure you are really processing the collagen.

First, look at your skin elasticity: Are your muscles, tendons, ligaments feeling tight? Or are they more stretchy? Are you feeling more bloated or does your stomach feel like it’s soothing and calm?

Feeling sore and stiff is an indicator that it’s not really helping much. Your gut should feel calm. If it feels like you’re more bloated or gassy than the collagen is irritating your system. You can make adjustments from there but its good to watch out for these signs when you start taking a new supplement. I would recommend introducing your body to one new supplement at a time so you can monitor how you feel and see if it is helping or hurting your body.

Here are a couple good reads that detail the benefits of adding plant-based collagen to your diet.
