5 Building Blocks to Prevent Disease


We have to start with ourselves. We seem to always, do too much, or give too much, or both. As a result, we seem to produce physical ailments, emotional imbalances, and mental instabilities.

I am happy to share five basics that I have learned from my own life research, personal and professional experiences.

These basics are confirmed in both Western medicine as well as Eastern. As part of the Zhi Neng Qigong Science Therapist journey, these basics prove to lead to a healthier and higher quality of life.

1. Regulate Body PostureπŸ‘¬β€¨

  • Smile, shoulders back, chin tucked in, abdomen in, relaxed arms and hands, consciousness to the feet. 


2. Regulate Breathing and RestπŸ˜Œβ€¨

  • Regulate slow, natural breathing with the air moving in and out, evenly.

  • Nourish yourself with peace, quiet and joy. Rest between breaths...the gap between a breath.

  • Rest between thoughts...take your time.

  • Qi rest...be aware of your own energy field

4. Adjust Food Intake πŸ₯¦πŸ₯‘πŸπŸ΅β€¨

  • Seasonal eating--Eating fresh and natural (farm to table style)...Include greens and green juices, alkaline foods, herbs.
  • Eating with the intention of nourishment.

5. Adjust Sleep πŸ›Œ πŸ•˜πŸŒ—β€¨

  • Set up an evening routine to prepare for a good night of sleep..
  • Reduce distracting mental and physical distractions....
  • Create a comfortable and cozy area for sleeping.
