New Stressors, New School Year 2020
Back to school stress is much different this year. Parents, teachers, and students are overloaded with uncertainties and a completely new way of doing things, which is stirring up the emotions. This year has brought a lot of uncertainties from day to day which can bring with it stresses that affect your immunity. In order to keep a healthy and happy home we want to focus on the things that we can be certain about. Here are some suggestions for creating a positive theme in your home:
CONNECT - Stay connected and talk to friends and family.
FEEL - Feel your feelings, adjust to a happy joyful thought or do something fun.
FOOD - Eat healthy and whole seasonal foods and drink lots of water.
MINDSET - Adjust your mindset and practice positive mindfulness.
MOVE - Exercise, Qi gong, yoga, get out in nature or go to the beach, park, or hike.
ROUTINE - Keep a daily routine that can have some flexibility once in a while.
